Use case / Phone anxiety
When making calls is hard.
Some calls stay on the list for weeks — not because they are complicated, but because the phone itself is the problem. Your AI assistant can take that call.
How it works
- Write it down at your own pace. In a chat, with no time pressure and nobody listening. You can rewrite it as often as you like before anything happens.
- The assistant does the talking. You do not have to listen in or be present. It introduces itself as an AI, puts your request and stays with it.
- Read it back instead of taking notes. When the call ends, what was said is there in your chat. No scrap of paper, no half-remembered answer.
The prompt for it
Copy it, fill in the square brackets, paste it into your AI chat. If wecallio is not connected yet, your assistant walks you through the setup first — it takes a minute or two.
I find phone calls difficult and I have been putting this one off. Please call [organisation] on [phone number]. My name is [your name]. It is about [subject]. Please find out [your question] and write back to me with what was said.
What the assistant will not do here
- Not a substitute for advice or therapy. wecallio takes one call off your hands, nothing more.
- No emergency calls — those numbers are blocked. If it is urgent, please call them yourself.
- No counselling or medical conversations in your name.
Frequently asked questions
Can someone else call for me if I cannot?
Yes — here an AI assistant does it. You write down what it is about, the assistant has the conversation, and afterwards you read what was said. You do not have to listen in.
Do I have to be on the call?
No. The call runs without you and you get the summary afterwards. There is no recording and no verbatim transcript; only the summary is stored.
What if I word it badly?
You can rewrite your instruction as often as you like before the call starts. That is the difference from a live call: you have time and nobody is waiting for your answer.
Does this help with phone anxiety?
It takes the individual call off your plate. It is not treatment — if anxiety affects your daily life, medical or therapeutic support is the right route.
