You had our assistant on the line.

In short: who is behind it, what data is involved — and how to stop any further calls. The more common case comes first: our assistant called you. If it was you who called and reached an AI assistant, please read the section further down.

Who called?

wecallio.com is a phone assistant. A private individual asked us to call you on their behalf — for example to arrange an appointment or to clarify a question. The call was made by an artificial intelligence, which introduces itself as such at the start of the conversation. We are the provider: Beck & Sierig GbR (see imprint).

We are not allowed to tell you unprompted who instructed us — that would be someone else's personal data. But you do have a right of access: write to us and we will assess your request and reply.

What data is involved in the call?

Neither an audio recording nor a verbatim record is stored. The conversation audio is processed in real time only and discarded afterwards. The details are in our privacy policy.

Do you not want to be called again?

Enter your number here. It will then be blocked permanently — for all users of our service, not just for today's call. You do not have to give a reason and you do not need an account with us.

Did you call — and an AI assistant answered?

Then you called someone who has forwarded their line to a number of our service because they could not take the call themselves. In that case our assistant answers, introduces itself as an AI right away and only takes down what the call is about. It does not speak on that person's behalf: it gives no information about them and promises nothing.

Here too: no audio recording, no verbatim transcript. The person receiving your request is the one you called — requests for access to or deletion of its content are best addressed to them directly. For anything held by us, a message to support@wecallio.com is enough.

The form above will not help you in this case: it blocks outgoing calls from our service to your number. Whether your call reaches a human again in future is entirely up to the person who set up the forwarding.

Your other rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). An informal message to support@wecallio.com is enough; please include the phone number and roughly when the call took place.

You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority — the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Saxony-Anhalt, but you may also contact the authority where you live.

If you consider the call to be unlawful marketing, please write to us as well. Marketing and acquisition calls are only permitted through our service for business customers with a separate activation, and the consent required under § 7 UWG must be held by the customer who commissioned the call. We follow up on such reports and withdraw the activation where it has been misused. You can additionally complain to the Bundesnetzagentur, the German federal network agency.
