Use case / Trades

Have tradespeople called for you.

Calling three firms means explaining the same thing three times and waiting for two callbacks. Your AI assistant makes the calls one after another and reports who is available and roughly what it costs.

How it works

  1. Describe the job once. Tell your assistant what is broken, where you live and when you are around. It reuses that description for every call, so you explain it exactly once.
  2. Let it work through the numbers. Give it the list. It calls each firm, describes the job and asks about availability, call-out charges and an approximate price.
  3. Compare what comes back. Each call produces a summary in your chat, and your assistant can lay them side by side for you.

The prompt for it

Copy it, fill in the square brackets, paste it into your AI chat. If wecallio is not connected yet, your assistant walks you through the setup first — it takes a minute or two.

The radiator connection in my bathroom is leaking. Please call these firms one after another: [number 1], [number 2], [number 3]. Describe the problem, ask whether they can come this week, what the call-out charge is and what hourly rate to expect. My name is [your name] and I live in [town].

Frequently asked questions

Can the assistant call several firms in a row?

Yes. Each firm is its own call and counts separately against your plan. Your assistant can make the calls in sequence and then compare the answers for you.

Will the AI hire someone on my behalf?

No. It asks about availability, call-out charges and price, and reports back. Placing the order is yours to do — that is a binding decision and does not belong with an AI.

How do tradespeople react to an AI calling?

It varies. The assistant introduces itself as an AI calling for a person; some find it practical, others would rather speak to you. In that case the summary says so and you can call back yourself.

Does it remember the description between calls?

Within your chat, yes — it reuses the same description for each call. wecallio itself stores no audio and no verbatim transcript, only the summary.
