01 / Setup
Hermes Agent picks up wecallio through its MCP configuration. After that the agent handles your calls.
Hermes Agent runs on your own machine and has access to your files and a shell. Here too a message to your agent is enough — it writes the connection into its own configuration.
As of today Hermes has no command that adds an MCP server directly by URL — your agent edits its own configuration file instead.
Please connect to the MCP server "wecallio" for phone calls:
1. Add this entry under mcp_servers in ~/.hermes/config.yaml:
wecallio:
url: "https://wecallio.com/mcp"
auth: oauth
enabled: true
2. Run hermes mcp login wecallio and open the login link in my browser.
3. Then reload the connection with /reload-mcp.
Finally, tell me briefly whether the connection is up.
Then add this entry under mcp_servers in
~/.hermes/config.yaml:
wecallio:
url: "https://wecallio.com/mcp"
auth: oauth
enabled: true
Then in the terminal: hermes mcp login wecallio,
followed by /reload-mcp in a running session.
They follow the official Hermes reference for MCP server configuration.
Official Hermes guide ↗Clear on the phone: the assistant always introduces itself as an AI calling on your behalf. Emergency, government and premium-rate numbers stay blocked. The first demo call is free. See the plans.
